My Extraordinary Year in Review: 2021 — Part 2

A lot of things happened in 2021, but looking back at the last 12 months when it came to my engineering career, I had two primary goals in mind:

  1. I wanted to start and maintain an engineering-focused blog
  2. I wanted to become a senior web developer

However, in today’s blog post, I want to share the story of how I became a senior web developer and some of the lessons I learned while working towards accomplishing my goal.

First of all, let me give you a little bit of context.

I have been a web developer since 2016. During this time, I had the chance to get exposure to several different tech stacks across various applications. I have worked with Ruby on Rails, Elixir on Phoenix, Vue.js, GraphQL, TailwindCSS, and many other frameworks and technologies.
